This looks like a great webquest - students choose a Spanish-speaking country to visit, must decide what to do, how to get from place to place, and stay within a budget among other things. There are specific roles for students as they are working in a group. The final project is a class presentation in Spanish.

http://schools.webster.k12.mo.us/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectiondetailid=30171 - Originally I was excited about the prospect of studying U.S. imperialism. However, while the webquest offers the pros and cons of imperialism it is entirely one-sided. I did not see one document, speech or essay written in Cuba, Puerto Rico or the Philippines for example. For younger students, this may be interesting experience, but there are certain limitations. - Chris Fronhofer

This webquest is entirely in the target language and deals with La Edad Media in Spain--it includes resources like poemas del Mio Cid. I particularly liked the roles that were assigned to the students to learn about society during that time--they were creative. It would be best used for a higher level class. Rather than include a section for "Process", it has a section for "Final Product" and on this page it breaks down the final product into smaller tasks or phases.-Melissa

This WebQuest is on Imperialism by a 5th grade teacher. It is a good example of a WQ, links are embedded in the tasks (I like that because it makes it easier for the students to know where they are to go). Check this one out for the teacher tips and credits section as well. Lisa B.

This webquest is related with the Spanish language application in the classroom, and some topics about inmigration aspects that can be use in the curriculum to connect the classes with the real world. Well, it is a good option.-Veronica Meza-

A webquest to enjoy the poems of Pablo Neruda totally in Spanish. It is a good exercise for students, reading, comprehend or memorize a poem. I really recommend "Las odas de Neruda". These are so great for young students.-Veronica Meza-

This webquest is about travel like a lot of the other ones, but it is specifically targeted toward Spanish II students. It deals with a lost wallet and the owner inviting the people who found his wallet to Spain as part of their reward.--

http://www.gmpdc.org/webquests/rincon/StolenArt/StolenArt.htm
This webquest is about stolen art and students having to learn about different types of art that would pertain to a specific country. They must learn all they can about the art by taking on different roles and then deciding to which wing of the museum each piece of art belongs.--Shakita
