Academic history: After graduating from high school I spent a year in Peru as a foreign exchange student. I lived in a variety of cities there including Pucallpa, Arequipa and Lima. I also had the pleasure of traveling to Chile several times throughout the year. After a very rich cultural experiencec I returned to the United States and began college at Binghamton University. I graduated with a degree in Spanish and Latin American literature. I began teaching high school Spanish. Two years later I was accepted into the MATSL program and am currently in my second year.
